Okay, dude, that's creepy-looking.

True... but it gets even better, because you have to multiply that by literally thousands of them flying around everywhere to get the full effect. They're so big, they look like small birds when seen at a distance. When they crash into things like cars, they do so with a very solid 'thud' that is sometimes follwed by a very messy 'squish'. Their dead and dying carcasses are literally everywhere -- covering the ground, wedged in tight spaces, clinging to vertical surfaces, you name it. And the sound... oh man, it sounds like a rapidly ululating ray gun, or maybe a UFO. It's unbelievable how loud and alien they sound.
